International Congress of Plant Pathology - EFSA participation

In 2008 International Congress of Plant Pathology is held in Turin, Italy from 24 - 29 August. The focus of this 9^th International Congress of Plant Pathology (ICPP 2008) will be on “Healthy and safe food for everybody”. EFSA will be present throughout the event to highlight its work in this field. Over 1500 participants are expected.

 

From 25 - 28 August participants can visit the EFSA stand in the Exhibition area of ICPP 2008 and talk to its experts. EFSA will also run a scientific sessionon how EFSA conducts its risk assessments to help maintain food safety in Europe. The session ‘Risk assessment of plant pathogens, mycotoxins and plant protection products for the EU’ will take place on 26 August.
