1. Sitzung des Verwaltungsrates

Der Kommissar für Gesundheit und Verbraucherschutz David Byrne eröffnete die erste Sitzung des Verwaltungsrats mit einer Beschreibung, wie es zu der Europäischen Behörde für Lebensmittelsicherheit kam und was die künftigen Herausforderungen sein werden. Auf dieser Sitzung wählte der Verwaltungsrat seinen Vorsitzenden und Stellvertretenden Vorsitzenden und führte die notwendigen Vorschriften und Verfahren für das Funktionieren des Verwaltungsrats ein, sodass dieser mit der wichtigen Aufgabe des Aufbaus der Behörde beginnen konnte.
