Web application for Bayesian Benchmark Dose Modelling

In specific contract No 8 and 20 issued under the framework agreement OC/EFSA/AMU/2019/02, EFSA requested Open Analytics to implement a web application for Bayesian Benchmark Dose Modelling. The application is developed in R and is similar to the application built in specific contracts No 3, 4 and 7 (OC/EFSA/AMU/2015/02), but introduces a shift from the frequentist to the Bayesian paradigm to perform the requested analyses. Therefore, the web application includes the latest version of the BMABMDR package to perform data preparation, model fitting, model averaging and plotting. The contractor explores in conjunction with EFSA which inputs to include and which tests and analyses to perform. The application is developed in a modular form such that new modules can be added when available, either by the developers of the application or by EFSA.
