Abstract

This external scientific report describes the latest development of the TKPlate 1.0 online platform and an R Shiny application under specific contract No 3 issued within the framework contract OC/EFSA/AMU/2019/02. TKplate 1.0 online tool and software have been developed using the freeware R and supports the use physiologically‐based (PB) models developed in MCSim and other biologically‐based models developed in MCSim to investigate toxicokinetic (TK) and toxicodynamic (TD) processes and implement New approach methodologies (NAMs) in human health, animal health and environmental risk assessment. The web application and software consist of seven modules ranging from input and modelling to automated outputs. In addition, the platform contains extended documentation including a downloadable user manual, a separate document describing case studies for each module, a web‐based info page and a list of examples/case studies allowing the user to load parameters and data directly into the platform.
