Der Verwaltungsrat der Europäischen Behörde für Lebensmittelsicherheit (EFSA) hat den Tätigkeitsbericht für das Jahr 2008 angenommen, aus dem hervorgeht, dass sich die Zahl der von der EFSA erstellten wissenschaftlichen Gutachten und anderer Arbeiten in den letzten zwölf Monaten verdoppelt hat. Ferner hat der Verwaltungsrat das strategische Konzept gebilligt, mit dem die Ziele der EFSA hinsichtlich der internationalen Aktivitäten für die kommenden Jahre abgesteckt werden
