Ad Hoc Stakeholder Meeting – Closure meeting on MoPS2 project

Background

EFSA met company representatives in the context of an ad hoc meeting with stakeholders. 

The meeting focused on the latest feedback received on the bioinformatic pipelines under the MoPS2 project and on the forthcoming implementation phase of the MoPS portal.

In the coming months, EFSA plans to further refine the bioinformatic code, with particular attention to the part on the characterisation of the genetic modification, in view of opening MoPS to applicants by year end. 

The meeting also provided an opportunity to address stakeholders’ questions on MoPS data management and retention, following previous correspondence.
