27. Sitzung des Verwaltungsrates

Der Verwaltungsrat der Europäischen Behörde für Lebensmittelsicherheit (EFSA), der sich im Juni 2006 neu formierte, hielt heute seine Eröffnungssitzung in Parma ab. Die Mitglieder wählten Patrick Wall zum Vorsitzenden und Diána Bánáti und Deirdre Hutton zu den stellvertretenden Vorsitzenden. Im Anschluss an den Vortrag der neuen Geschäftsführenden Direktorin der EFSA, Catherine Geslain-Lanéelle, über die aktuellen Tätigkeiten der Behörde billigte der Verwaltungsrat die Verlängerung des Mandats der EFSA-Konsultationsplattform für Interessen¬gruppen und erörterte die künftigen strategischen Prioritäten sowie die Kommunikations¬strategie der EFSA.
