Summary
Since 27 March 2021, the implementation of the Transparency Regulation has introduced new services, processes and provisions that are strongly impacting the lifecycle and renewal procedure for applications.
The aim of the webinar on Notification of Studies was to explain to applicants how to create a pre-application ID and a list of intended studies. This will help them to familiarise themselves with the new requirements of the Transparency Regulation related to the notification of studies.
EFSA speakers presented the new features of the system following the recent upgrade of the Connect.EFSA platform. In particular, they explained how to create a pre-application ID and manage the list of intended studies and study notifications. This webinar is a part of a EFSA webinar series aiming to support applicants and to enhance EFSA’s dialogue with stakeholders.
Some 200 participants attended the webinar, including representatives of SMEs, laboratories and testing facilities, business operators, research organisations and national competent authorities from Europe and worldwide.
The webinar ended with a live Q&A session, during which speakers answered the participants’ questions.
