30ª riunione del Consiglio d’amministrazione

Nell’anno in cui l’Europa compie 50 anni, una delle sue più recenti istituzioni, l’Autorità europea per la sicurezza alimentare (EFSA), festeggia i suoi primi cinque anni di attività. Il consiglio di amministrazione dell’EFSA ha ribadito il proprio impegno a proteggere la salute dei consumatori europei attraverso valutazioni scientifiche del rischio del più alto livello, che informino le politiche europee e le decisioni sulla gestione del rischio nel campo della sicurezza alimentare. Il consiglio ha confermato al comitato ed ai gruppi di esperti scientifici dell’EFSA il proprio sostegno nel fornire pareri scientifici in modo tempestivo e trasparente. Oggi, 27 marzo, in occasione della riunione del suo consiglio di amministrazione a Berlino, l’EFSA ha annunciato il programma per il 5° anniversario. Le varie iniziative in calendario includono un importante forum scientifico a Bruxelles nel mese di novembre.
