23ª riunione del Consiglio d’amministrazione

Il consiglio di amministrazione dell’Autorità europea per la sicurezza alimentare (EFSA) ha esaminato in data odierna il piano di gestione 2005 dell’Autorità ed ha approvato un bilancio di 46,6 milioni di euro, necessario per realizzare l’ampio piano di gestione e per sostenerne ulteriormente lo sviluppo dell’EFSA nel 2006. Tra gli elementi chiave del piano vi sono: un impegno rinnovato per la trasparenza, in particolare tramite l’ulteriore sviluppo del registro online dei pareri scientifici, l’importanza della prioritizzazione per affrontare il crescente carico di lavoro dell’Autorità, e l’istituzione di un sistema di controllo di gestione interno. Il consiglio ha anche annunciato il lancio imminente di una consultazione sui risultati della valutazione esterna dell’attività dell’EFSA sul proprio sito web.
