Ad hoc meeting with stakeholders on environmental risk assessment of trace elements used as feed additives

Background
On 6 November, EFSA organised a stakeholder meeting via teleconference to provide information and answer any question in relation to a call for data on natural background concentrations of trace elements used as nutritional feed additives. Information related to the mandate, how EFSA is assessing the environmental risk posed by such trace elements, the reason for the call, the characteristics of the data needed and how the data should be submitted to EFSA were presented and discussed. After the presentation there was the opportunity to pose questions and clarifications were provided. It was agreed to share the presentation with the stakeholders.
