EFSA press conference on aspartame, 5 May, 2006 - Webcast available

The Scientific Panel on Food Additives, Flavourings, Processing Aids and Materials in Contact with Food (AFC) carried out an assessment of the new carcinogenicity study on the sweetener aspartame by the Ramazzini Foundation in Bologna. On 5 May 2006, EFSA presented conclusions at a press conference in Rome.
