Member State delegates from Milan consulates visit EFSA

Today, at the kind initiative of the Belgian Presidency of the European Union and the Belgian General Consul in Milan, François Cornet D’Elzius, EFSA’s Executive Director welcomed a delegation of General Consuls from Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Estonia, France, Greece, Lithuania, Poland and Spain, who are based in Milan, Italy. The meeting allowed EFSA’s representatives to present its mission, priorities and the challenges it faces. Discussions focused in particular on scientific cooperation and networking with Member States and communication on risks associated to food.

EFSA warmly welcomes this initiative and looks forward to continued cooperation with Member State representatives in Italy.
