Auf welche Weise sind Daten bei der EFSA einzureichen?

The Guidance on Standard Sample Description for Food and Feed specifies the data elements, the sample data structure and the analytical results for chemical contaminants and residues in food and feed included in monitoring and control programmes. The control terminologies are listed in the file Standard Sample Description.

Data can be transmitted to EFSA in two ways:

  1. In electronic format using Extensible Markup Language (XML) or different file formats such as Microsoft Excel, Comma Separated Values (CSV). In case of transmitting data in XML format, please contact EFSA for obtaining the XML schema at datex@efsa.europa.eu.
  2. In an MS Excel® table, structured in accordance with the Guidance document. For this purpose, the Generic Reporting Format can be used for data on chemical occurrence. Reporting formats and instructions for specific contaminants are available in the section “Reporting formats”. All these reporting formats are subsets of the Generic Reporting Format. They are tailored for the collection and transmission of data on particular contaminants and all of them need to use the file Standard Sample Description. In order to correctly use the reporting formats and not to compromise the functionality of the included macros functions, please proceed as follows:
    1. Read the instructions carefully
    2. Download the file Standard Sample Description to your computer (do not change the file name)
    3. Download the file Reporting format for… (if there is no specific reporting format we recommend to use the generic one)
    4. Keep both Excel files in the same folder
    5. Open both Excel files and enable the macros
    6. Keep both files open in the same Excel instance when filling in the data
    7. Submit data to the email addresses specified in the Instruction file.
