Description:
Op basis van analytische gegevens kan de blootstelling aan een bepaalde verbinding worden geschat door de laagste waarde toe te kennen die kan worden gedetecteerd (of gekwantificeerd) aan alle monsters met niveaus onder deze waarde. Voor een toxische chemische stof geeft dit de meest pessimistische schatting van de blootstelling (d.w.z. het werkelijke blootstellingsniveau ligt altijd onder de bovengrens)
