EFSA Scientific Colloquium N°4: Principles of Risk Assessment of Food Producing Animals: Current and future approaches

EFSA’s 4th Science Colloquium was held on 1-2 December 2005 in Parma and brought together over 90 experts to have an open scientific debate on the conduct and components of risk assessment for animal diseases and animal welfare.

One of the overall conclusions was that EFSA should consider setting up a working group to develop a guidance document on the risk assessment for animal welfare based on the general risk assessment principles.
