EFSA pleased to support final outcomes of FoodRisC project

EFSA participated in a joint conference with the EU-funded FoodRisC project earlier this month. The conference marked the end of this three-and-a-half-year research programme into consumer perceptions associated with risk and benefit communications related to food. Commenting on the outcomes, Anne-Laure Gassin, EFSA’s Director of Communications, said: “The FoodRisC project has generated a wealth of valuable research that will help inform EFSA’s future work. Having been involved in its Stakeholder Advisory Board from the outset, EFSA was pleased to play a facilitating role bridging the gap between academia and communications practitioners.” EFSA’s Member State communicators network assisted the researchers, ensuring that the developed concepts and tools were tried, tested and ready for implementation, she added.
