Food enzyme intake model (FEIM)

EFSA organised a virtual meeting with stakeholders on the Food enzyme intake model (FEIM). The event took place on 31 March 2021 during a public consultation on the new scientific guidance on the submission of dossiers on food enzymes. The new guidance is expected to be published in the fourth quarter of this year.

The overall objective of the meeting was to clarify the approach used in the dietary exposure assessment of food enzyme dossiers, to explain key components of the FEIM model, as well as to show the calculation and temporary workaround.

A short introduction was followed by two presentations and a Q&A session.
