Minister of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality from the Netherlands visits EFSA

The Dutch Minister of Agriculture Mrs Gerda Verburg arrived in Parma on Sunday for a one-day visit to the European Food Safety Authority. She was accompanied by a delegation of Dutch officials.
She was welcomed by EFSA’s Chair of Management Board, Prof. Diána Bánáti and EFSA’s Executive Director, Catherine Geslain-Lanéelle. The programme of the visit included presentations on the workflow process at EFSA, scientific cooperation between EFSA and Member States, risk communication. Focused-session on nutrition, GMOs, animal health and welfare and new technologies were organized.
