Five Year Anniversary Scientific Forum - From safe food to healthy diets: EU risk assessment past, present and future

On 20-21November EFSA organised in Brussels a two day international event for expert scientists and other interested parties to debate cutting edge food safety issues with EFSA. Agenda items included nanotechnology, animal cloning, chemical and microbiological risks, GMO risk assessment, nutrition and risk communications. Speakers included EFSA experts and other worldwide specialists in food safety science, participants from the European Commission and European Parliament, national food safety authorities, international organisations and stakeholders.
