Ad-hoc meeting with industry on the food additive steviol glycosides (E 960)

EFSA met with several representatives from the industries involved in the manufacturing of the food additive steviol glycosides (E 960) in the context of an ad-hoc meeting with industry associations. The meeting provided an opportunity for open dialogue on the following technical issue:

  • Possible presence of kaurenoic acid as an impurity in the food additive (E 960)

The meeting took place in a constructive atmosphere, and marks an important step in enhanced dialogue among the parties.
