Ad-hoc meeting with industry association AMFEP

EFSA met with the Association of Manufacturers and Formulators of Enzyme Products (AMFEP) in the context of an ad-hoc meeting with industry association. The meeting provided an opportunity for open dialogue, and the discussion focussed on:

  • Food enzyme exposure estimations: approach, input parameters, technical factors
  • Estimation tool development & dossier evaluation

The meeting took place in a constructive atmosphere and marks an important step in enhanced dialogue among the parties.
