Strengthening Capacity in Food Safety

EFSA is jointly organizing an event on Strengthening Capacity in Food Safety with the Slovenian Institute for Public Health and the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Food. The aim of this joint event is to showcase the importance of EFSA’s cooperation with Member States and the tools used to work together in practice. EFSA will share its thoughts on the challenges and opportunities ahead in risk communications and the Slovene Advisory Forum and National Focal Point members will present their 2008 activities and plans for 2009. The event will bring EFSA and its stakeholders together to exchange views as well as strengthening cooperation helping to ensure food safety in Slovenia.
