Ad Hoc Stakeholder Meeting – 4th progress meeting on MoPS2 project

Background
EFSA met company representatives engaged in MoPS2 in the context of an ad hoc meeting with stakeholders.
The meeting aimed to discuss the outcome of the MoPS2 project and the input received during the user acceptance testing of the MoPS portal. Stakeholders were also informed about the ongoing work on the genetic modification characterisation part.
In the coming months, EFSA plans to fine-tune the MoPS portal and refine the bioinformatic code with the aim of deploying an enhanced version of the portal accessible to applicants by 2026.
