Ad hoc meeting with industry representatives
An ad hoc meeting with industry (GMO applicants) was organized by EFSA on the 13 April 2021. The meeting provided the opportunity to update the industry representatives on the GMO allergenicity WG activities, the new guidance for Human Dietary Exposure for risk assessment of GM foods and the recent EFSA Framework contract on GMO sequencing quality analysis.
CropLife Europe presented their views and questions on Statistics from EFSA Comprehensive European Food Consumption Database and Ad-hoc Dietary Exposure Scenario for Pollen-based Supplements.
The meeting was an opportunity to present and discuss the Workflow and Tools recently implemented for the Transparency Regulation.
