1st Ad Hoc Meeting on Competitive Exclusion Products

Background

On 21 January 2025, EFSA held an online ad-hoc meeting with interested feed business representatives interested in the so-called competitive exclusion products. Representatives from the European Commission participated also to the meeting.

The meeting was organised following the EFSA’s catalogue of support initiative for regulated products. The aim of the meeting was to set up a direct communication and an open dialogue on methodological aspects, scientific requirements, and approach(es) which may be unique to these products. Ad hoc meetings may be organised in the future to facilitate the dialogue.
