Scientific Colloquium on Microbiome Data and Methods Integration in Food and Feed Risk Assessment
The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) and the French National Research Institute for Agriculture, Food and Environment (INRAE) are organising a scientific colloquium on the integration of microbiome-related data and methods into food and feed risk assessment.
The event will bring stakeholders together to assess the maturity of the available scientific data and methods and to develop an actionable plan to address the knowledge gaps that currently hinder the use of microbiome science in food and feed safety assessment.
The in-person event only will take place in Brussels, Belgium, from 09:00 on 23 November 2026 to 13:00 on 24 November 2026 and is intended for a broad range of stakeholders, including Member States, the European Commission, EU agencies, international organisations, industry representatives and the scientific community.
Registration will open in the coming months. Further information, including the agenda and registration details, will be published on the EFSA website in due course.
