Study tour to the Dutch Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority
This study tour was organised within the EFSA Pre-Accession Programme 2011-2014 for the Candidate and Potential Candidate countries financed by the European Commission under the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA) Component.
The study tour aimed to provide the participants with an overall knowledge on the role of the Dutch Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority in the area of risk assessment, risk communication and risk management. The study tour was organised as a two-day exchange between experts from the Dutch Food Safety Authorities and experts from the Pre-Accession countries on food safety information and practical work at national level. Agenda and topics are prepared based on suggestions from the Pre-Accession countries, assessment of their needs and suggestions from the hosting institution.
