As the cornerstone of the EU risk assessment system for food and feed safety, EFSA will continue to provide risk managers in the European Institutions and EU Member States with scientific advice on existing and emerging risks. The Authority will remain committed to the core standards of scientific excellence, openness, transparency, independence and responsiveness, based on the most recent scientific methodologies, information and data available.
