Info session on MetaPath: how to validate files generated with MSS composers for pesticide metabolism studies
Background
Applicants submitting an application under Regulation (EC) No 1107/2009 or Regulation (EC) No 396/2005 are requested to provide data on pesticide metabolism in the area of residues. These are to be submitted as attachments (xml files) generated with the MetaPath MSS composer software.
Member State Authorities receiving the dossier are responsible for the quality check and validation of the xml files submitted by applicants, as defined in the description of the steps to follow to report structured metabolism data in the context of EU applications available here.
Summary of the info session
The info session aimed to support Member State Authorities in validating the xml files generated with MSS composers by applicants and containing pesticide metabolism data from plants and livestock metabolism studies. The session included a theoretical part and a live demonstration to explain how to validate xml files. There was also time for attendees to ask questions.
