Inauguration of EFSA’s new premises

Representatives from European Union institutions, the Italian Government and the recently elected Chair of EFSA’s Management Board, Sue Davies, will be among those invited to mark the official inauguration of the Authority’s new premises in Parma, Italy.

Catherine Geslain-Lanéelle, Executive Director of EFSA, will welcome officials from the European Commission, the European Parliament and the Presidency of the European Union, along with the Italian Minister for Health and the Mayor of Parma to the inauguration on 12 November, 2012.

A commemorative plaque will be unveiled as part of the ceremony.

EFSA would like to express its thanks in particular to the Italian authorities for their important role in ensuring the completion of the Authority’s purpose-built headquarters.
