Gensko spremenjeni organizmi

Svet za gensko spremenjene organizme (GSO) zagotavlja neodvisne znanstvene nasvete o varnosti hrane in krme, ocenjevanju tveganja za okolje in molekulski karakterizaciji/znanosti o rastlinah. Delo sveta se nanaša predvsem na gensko spremenjene rastline, mikroorganizme in živali.

Člani sveta za gensko spremenjene organizme so znanstveniki iz vse Evrope s strokovnim znanjem na področju:

  • ocenjevanja varnosti hrane in krme (gensko spremenjene rastline, gensko spremenjeni mikroorganizmi, gensko spremenjene živali)
    prehranske in genetske toksikologije, imunologije, alergije na hrano, prehrane ljudi in živali, prehranske izpostavljenosti, biokemije in presnove, živilske kemije, statističnih podatkov za kompozicijske analize in načrtovanja terenskih poskusov, poskusov krmljenja živali;
  • ocenjevanja tveganj za okolje (gensko spremenjene rastline, gensko spremenjeni mikroorganizmi, gensko spremenjene živali)
    ekologije in populacijske dinamike insektov, ekologije rastlin, molekularne ekologije, ekotoksikologije, biologije rastlin, patologije rastlin, fiziologije rastlin, znanosti o plevelih, ekosistemskih storitev, znanosti o tleh (organizmi v tleh, biokemični procesi, abiotski procesi), populacijske genetike rastlin, razvoja odpornosti pri ciljnih škodljivih organizmih (entomologija, zaščita pridelkov), geografskega coniranja in sprejemnih okolij, znanosti o škodljivih organizmih (varstvo rastlin), vpliva kmetijstva na biotsko raznovrstnost, vertikalnega prenosa genov, horizontalnega prenosa genov, obstojnosti in invazivnosti (zaraščanje s plevelom), vpliva na neciljne organizme (entomologija, ekologija), matematičnega modeliranja, statistike in biometrije, eksperimentalnega načrtovanja (načrtovanje terenskih poskusov, načrtovanje laboratorijskih testov), agronomije, sistemov pridelave in kmetijske prakse;
  • molekulske karakterizacije in znanosti o rastlinah
    strukture in evolucije genoma, regulacije genov, stabilnosti genoma, bioinformatike, žlahtnjenja rastlin, molekularne biologije, fiziologije rastlin in mikrobov, biokemije in presnove (rastlin, mikroorganizmov), proteomike, transkriptomike, genomike, genetske transformacije, biologije rastlin, živilske mikrobiologije, odpornosti na antibiotike, matematičnega modeliranja, horizontalnega prenosa genov, analize izražanja, analize beljakovin, okoljske mikrobiologije, genetike, ekologije.

What are EFSA's networks?

EFSA’s networks consist of nationally appointed EU Member State organisations with expertise in the fields covered by the network. Representatives of the Commission and of other organisations (including those from outside the EU) with specific expertise may also be invited to participate in the work of EFSA Networks.
