The 9th meeting of the EFSA Stakeholder Consultative Platform, 5 to 6 March 2009

EFSA’s Stakeholder Consultative Platform will meet on 5 - 6 March in Brussels. EFSA’s Executive Director Catherine Geslain-Lanéelle will update the Platform on progress since the last meeting in October 2008. Scientific issues for discussion include the annual zoonoses report, the evaluation of flavouring substances and the latest opinions on animal health and welfare. Other items on the agenda include EFSA's approach to public consultations on its scientific outputs, its International Strategy and Risk Communication activities.

Register to attend as an Observer
Meetings of the Stakeholder Platform are open to the public in accordance with the Platform's Terms of Reference. EFSA is pleased to invite interested parties to register to follow the meeting as an Observer by emailing us at: register_stakeholderplatform [at] efsa.europa.eu (register_stakeholderplatform[at]efsa[dot]europa[dot]eu) by 2 March 2009. Please note that due to limited space places will be allocated to Observers on a first-come first-served basis. EFSA will contact applicants immediately after the closing date to confirm their attendance.
