Advisory Forum and scientific cooperation

The Advisory Forum and Scientific Cooperation Unit is committed to strengthen scientific cooperation and networking between EFSA and EU Member States as well as the pre-accession countries to ensure work sharing and exchange of scientific data and information. The Unit facilitates the dialogue between national food safety authorities of the Member States and EFSA. Thus, special importance is given to support the Advisory Forum which plays a central role in strengthening EFSA’s cooperation with Member States and facilitating dialogue on key strategic issues and which, together with the Focal Points, connects EFSA with the national food safety authorities.
