This interactive dashboard provides access to the latest and historical results of EFSA’s horizon scanning activities, which identify plant pests that may pose a risk to European Union territory.
The dashboard is organised into three sections:
- Plant Health Overview
An interactive world map displaying all items included in published newsletters for which a location has been reported. Users can search and filter results by newsletter, pest species, regulatory status, and the outcome of the PeMo screening applied to non-regulated pests. - Newsletter Search Engine
A searchable database of the pests featured in EFSA’s monthly horizon scanning newsletters. Each row represents a pest species and includes information such as its PeMo screening result, category, host range, type of impact, and presence in Europe. Users can filter and sort the data and expand individual entries to access additional information, including all EFSA outputs in which the pest is mentioned, the reasons for its inclusion, and links to the relevant publications. - Statistics
Visual summaries of the horizon scanning process, showing the number of items identified, screened and selected at each stage, from the automated collection of information through to publication in the monthly newsletter.
This version of the dashboard was launched in August 2026 and is updated monthly following the publication of each horizon scanning newsletter.
