Stakeholder meeting on efficacy of silage additives
Background
The FEEDAP Guidance on the assessment of the efficacy of feed additives sets out specific requirements for conducting studies with silage additives to demonstrate their efficacy. To help applicants meet these requirements and present information clearly in their reports, a comprehensive template has been developed. This template is designed to streamline the reporting process, facilitate faster risk assessments, and minimise the need for additional information requests. The overall aim is to support a more efficient regulatory review.
Objectives of the meeting
- Introduce the template files, explaining their structure and intended use
- Collect feedback from participants regarding the usefulness of the template and suggestions for its improvement. For that purpose, attendees are encouraged to review the templates beforehand by accessing the following link.
Structure of the meeting
The meeting will encourage active participation by giving all attendees the chance to share feedback and suggest improvements to the templates. It will begin with a brief overview of the templates’ structure and content, followed by an open discussion inviting input from everyone.
