Delegation from Canada Government visits EFSA

A delegation from the Canadian government will visit the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) on Thursday 11 March.
The delegation will be welcomed by EFSA’s Executive Director Catherine Geslain-Lanéelle. She will also introduce the Authority’s 2010 work programme and priorities. Sessions aimed at presenting how EFSA works and its cooperation with EU Member States, international organisations and third-country bodies are also part of the programme. In addition, focused sessions for exchange of views between Canadian representatives and EFSA on topics such as nutrition, health claims, genetically modified plants, and risk communication are also scheduled.
