EFSA’s Stakeholder Consultative Platform will meet in Brussels on 4 and 5 June 2009.
EFSA’s Executive Director Catherine Geslain-Lanéelle will update the Platform on EFSA’s activities over the last months and will present the EFSA Preliminary Management Plan for 2010. Scientific issues for discussion include sessions on Emerging risks and on pesticides.
Other items on the agenda include EFSA’s approach to public consultations on its scientific outputs, its Communication activities and a technical meeting on EFSA’s opinion on transparency chaired by Prof.Silano. There will be also a presentation and discussion of the new Terms of Reference in view of the renewal of the Platform in autumn.
