Public consultation of the Scientific Panel on Plant Protection Products and their Residues (PPR) on the Draft Guidance on Dermal Absorption and the Draft Scientific Opinion on the Science behind the Revision of the Guidance Document on Dermal Absorption
EFSA's Panel on plant protection products and their residues (PPR Panel) has launched an open consultation on the Guidance on Dermal Absorption and the Scientific Opinion on the Science behind the Revision the Guidance Document on Dermal Absorption. The two documents were drafted after conducting a first public consultation on the current Guidance Document on Dermal Absorption (Sanco/222/2000 rev.7; 19th March 2004) and delivery of commissioned preparatory work. The Guidance intends to provide guidance for the assessment of dermal absorption to stakeholders involved in the peer review of plant protection products under Directive 91/414/EEC. Although the Guidance has been conceived as a stand alone document, it should be reviewed together with the Opinion which gives further information on and background for the elements presented in it.
