EFSA Stakeholder Forum 2026: Shaping EFSA's Strategy 2034 Together
Under the theme “Shaping EFSA’s Strategy 2034 Together”, the 9th EFSA Stakeholder Forum brought together EFSA’s registered stakeholder organisations and other invited partners to help shape EFSA’s long-term vision and future strategic priorities.
Through interactive sessions, participants explored how EFSA could continue to deliver added value for food safety and public health by making its scientific advice increasingly actionable, keeping pace with scientific and technological developments, and evolving stakeholder cooperation while safeguarding independence, transparency and trust.
The reflections gathered during the Forum contributed to the drafting of EFSA’s Strategy 2034, as part of a broader consultation process involving key partners such as the Advisory Forum and the Scientific Committee. The draft Strategy is expected to be opened for public consultation in early 2027.
