Panel members at the time of adoption
Note: The previous version of the document was adopted by the former EFSA AFC Panel (Panel on Food Additives, Flavourings, Processing Aids and Materials in Contact with Food) on 31 July 2008. For transparency reason, it is still accessible, watermarked as ‘obsolete’, under the ‘Supporting information’ tab on Wiley Online Library. The current version of the document was endorsed by the EFSA CEF Panel (Panel on Food Contact Materials, Enzymes, Flavourings and Processing Aids) on 23 March 2017. The following sections of the document have been updated: (i) Chapters 0, I, II, IV of the version adopted on 31 July 2008 have been removed; (ii) Chapter III of the version adopted on 31 July 2008 have been amended, as detailed in the introduction to the Note for Guidance, i.e. ‘Note for the reader’; (iii) Annexes 3, 5 and 6 of Chapter III of the version adopted on 31 July 2008 have been removed.
This Guidance is applicable for applications submitted as of 27 March 2021
