Abstract

Presented document is the final report of the project GA/EFSA/DATA/2017/01: “Strategic Partnership with Slovakia on Data Quality (Pilot project)”. The report describes national processes and tools in order to implement internal validation and quality control of collected data according to EFSA requirements. A description of the data transmission processes from the National Databases to the EFSA databases, terminology, data mapping and data transformations for the purpose of upgrading the system to collect and transmit data to EFSA are presented in report. The following domains are included: pesticide residues (under Regulation (EC) No 396/2005), chemical contaminants (under Regulation (EC) No 1881/2006), food additives (under Regulation (EC) No 1333/2008), residues of veterinary medicinal products (under Directive 96/23/EC) and zoonosis (under Directive 99/2003/EC).
