The context of the peer review was that required by Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 844/2012. The conclusions were reached on the basis of the evaluation of the representative use of benzoic acid as a disinfectant in rooms, buildings and equipment used in floriculture, horticulture and agriculture, and in small tools in preventive treatment. The reliable end points, appropriate for use in regulatory risk assessment, are presented. Missing information identified as being required by the regulatory framework is listed. © European Food Safety Authority, 2016 Contact: pesticides.peerreview [at] efsa.europa.eu doi: 10.2903/j.efsa.2016.4657 EFSA Journal 2016;14(12):4657 [14 pp.].
