Summary

According to Article 6 of the Regulation (EC) No 396/2005, the Netherlands, herewith referred to as the Evaluating Member State (EMS), received an application from Stichting Trustee Bijzondere Toelatingen to modify the existing MRLs for bifenazate in currants (red, black and white), raspberries and blackberries. In order to accommodate for the intended indoor and outdoor uses of bifenazate on these berries in the Netherlands, the EMS proposed to raise the existing MRLs. The EMS drafted an evaluation report according to Article 8 of Regulation (EC) No 396/2005 which was submitted to the European Commission and forwarded to EFSA on 23 June 2011.
