The goal of this project is the implementation of three reports on toxicokinetics, toxicity and allergenicity data on substances to be evaluated as acceptable previous cargoes for edible fats and oils. A four-step approach was implemented to search, collect, organize, manage and properly present all the data/information found in literature and/or other suitable sources. The project has been carried out in collaboration with Chemsafe (S-IN’s subcontractor). Chemsafe has a long term experience in toxicity data collection and critical evaluation/assessment of toxicokinetics, toxicity and allergenicity data of chemicals to humans and animals due to its main activity to prepare registration dossiers as for REACH requirements, cosmetics and foodstuff and feedstuff registration including ingredients as well as biocides and pesticides registration.
