EFSA has undertaken a public consultation on the draft scientific opinion for Guidance on risk assessment concerning potential risks arising from applications of nanoscience and nanotechnologies to food and feed. The draft guidance was prepared by an EFSA Scientific Committee working group composed of external experts and members of the Scientific Committee. The draft guidance was endorsed for public consultation by the EFSA Scientific Committee on the 5th of January 2011. The public consultation started on the 14th of January and closed on the 25th of February (6 weeks). This report provides a summary of the comments and their consideration and includes a table with all the comments as provided.
