German Federal Ministry for Food, Agriculture and Consumer Protection delegation visits EFSA
2 May 2011
A delegation from the German Federal Ministry for Food, Agriculture and Consumer Protection (BMELV) is visiting the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) on 2-3 May. The BMELV delegation is led by Bernhard Kühnle, Director-General for Nutrition, Food Safety and Animal Health.
A meeting, chaired by EFSA’s Executive Director, Catherine Geslain-Lanéelle, aims at strengthening cooperation between EFSA and Germany.
EFSA and national food safety authorities meet regularly. These meetings allow for an exchange of views on topics of common interest and for further strengthening of scientific and risk communications cooperation.
