"Food Safety in Europe: Cooperation between EFSA and the Member States"

The Hellenic Food Authority, The Federation of Hellenic Food Industries and EFSA, will host the conference «Food Safety in Europe: Cooperation between EFSA and the Member States».
The aim is to explain the importance EFSA is attaching to scientific cooperation in Europe and the tools EFSA is using in order to make this co-operation a reality. The event will be an opportunity for EFSA, and all those who may have an interest in EFSA, such as the food authorities, the industry, consumers, and scientists, to meet and exchange views.
Participants will also hear about the different approaches for assesing and identifying any emerging risks arising from new technologies. There will also be presentation on risk assesment and communications strategies specially in response to a food crisis.
